Job Description

  • We’re looking for a Head Baker to lead the bakery operations of a renowned luxury hospitality brand in New Delhi.
  • As the Head Baker, you will lead and oversee all baking operations for the property. You will be responsible for recipe innovation, quality control, kitchen hygiene, and mentoring a skilled bakery team. You’ll work closely with the Executive Chef and F&B leadership to curate and execute outstanding baked offerings aligned with the property's luxury standards.

Lead day-to-day operations of the bakery section with a focus on consistency and quality

Plan and execute a wide variety of breads, cakes, desserts, and seasonal baked goods

Develop and test new recipes in line with current trends and guest preferences

Ensure adherence to hygiene, food safety, and HACCP standards

Manage inventory, costing, and procurement of baking ingredients

Train, mentor, and evaluate bakery staff to build a high-performing team

Collaborate with culinary and F&B teams for event-specific menus and premium offerings

Monitor guest feedback and continuously innovate to enhance satisfaction

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of professional baking experience, including leadership of a bakery team
  • Proven expertise in artisanal breads, laminated dough, and European-style pastries

  • Strong sense of aesthetics, plating, and innovation
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Knowledge of luxury hospitality standards and high-volume production
  • A hands-on leader who inspires excellence and creativity in the kitchen

    Requirements Previous experience as a Commis Chef or similar role in a luxury or fine dining environment Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in both Western and Arabic cuisine Passion for food, creativity, and a keen eye for detail Ability to work effectively within a diverse, multicultural team Good communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holiday
