Job Summary :
You will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and making judgments on student academic applications to be admitted to developmental, certification programs.
You must be able to assess a student’s overall academic achievements, leadership skills, and general merit for admission purposes. They must understand the admissions process and requirements of their organization.
Responsibilities :
- Interview students and assess their academic achievements, leadership capabilities, and suitability for admission.
- Provide prospective students with information related to enrollment procedure and requirements.
- Research and evaluate student eligibility qualifications.
- Attend college fairs and guidance counseling events to reach out to potential admission candidates.
- Provide guidance and advice to students regarding the admissions and enrollment procedures.
- Define, develop, and implement admission process policies, procedures, and standards.
- Monitor and maintain records related to admission.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in higher education administration, student counseling, or related field.Knowledge of the admissions process and institutional eligibility criteria.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational and data analysis aptitude.Ability to multi-task and handle a high volume of work.
