Azure DevOps Engineer

Job Description

Design implement and manage cloud infrastructure on platforms such as Azure or other major cloud providers.

Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Ansible.

Build maintain and optimize CI / CD pipelines using Jenkins GitHub Actions or other automation tools.

Manage Kubernetes clusters (AKS EKS or GKE) including deployment scaling upgrades and troubleshooting.

Use Helm charts for application packaging and deployment management.

Monitor system performance availability and reliability using tools like Prometheus Grafana and ELK stack.

Implement and maintain secure cloud configurations managing secrets certificates and access policies.

Collaborate with development teams to containerize applications using Docker and ensure seamless deployment workflows.

Automate operational tasks and environment provisioning using scripting languages such as PowerShell Bash or Python.

Manage and support release activities across Dev QA Staging and Production environments.

Troubleshoot production issues perform root cause analysis and drive continuous improvements in infrastructure and processes.

Required Skills and Experience

4 years of experience in DevOps Cloud or Infrastructure Engineering roles.

Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud services (AKS Storage Event Hub Key Vault etc.).

Hands-on experience with Terraform or equivalent IaC tools.

Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).

Solid understanding of CI / CD concepts and tools like Jenkins GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.

Experience in monitoring logging and alerting using Prometheus Grafana OpenSearch or ELK stack.

Good scripting experience in PowerShell Bash or Python.

Familiarity with Git-based workflows version control and code review best practices.

Exposure to Agile / Scrum methodologies and cross-functional team collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related discipline.

Azure certification (AZ-104 or AZ-400) or equivalent cloud certification
