About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven
Business Development & Sales Executive
to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new clients, building strong relationships, and driving revenue growth for our
podcast and shoot studio
in the Gurugram region. This role requires a proactive individual with a proven track record in sales, excellent communication skills, and a keen understanding of the media and content creation landscape.
Major Responsibilities & Deliverables :
- Identify and research potential clients, including podcasters, content creators, marketing agencies, production houses, corporate clients, educational institutions, and individual professionals.
- Develop and execute strategies to generate new leads through various channels (e.g., cold calling, email campaigns, networking events, social media, industry referrals).
- Conduct compelling sales presentations and studio tours to showcase our facilities and services.
- Understand client needs and tailor solutions to meet their specific requirements for podcasting, video shoots, photography, and other content production.
- Negotiate contracts, prepare proposals, and close deals to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Manage the end-to-end sales cycle from initial contact to booking confirmation.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships to foster repeat business and referrals.
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring a smooth and satisfactory experience.
- Gather client feedback and collaborate with the operations team to continuously improve services.
- Contribute to the development of sales strategies, marketing initiatives, and new service offerings.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status and handle payments, contracts, and invoices
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.
- Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and growth.
- Maintain studio cleanliness, equipment readiness, and ambiance
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.2-3 years of proven experience in business development or sales, preferably within the media, advertising, events, creative services, or entertainment industry.Basic knowledge of studio equipment and terminologyDemonstrable track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse clients.Self-motivated, proactive, and target-oriented with a strong work ethic.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Familiarity with podcasting, video production, and photography concepts is a significant plus.Knowledge of the Gurugram business landscape and local media industry is highly desirable.
