Senior ABAP Developer (ABAP + BTP )

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior ABAP Developer with hands-on experience in SAP BTP and Ariba CIG Integration . The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in ABAP development, exposure to cloud-based extensibility on SAP BTP, and practical experience integrating SAP Ariba with SAP S / 4HANA or ECC using CIG (Cloud Integration Gateway).

Key Responsibilities

ABAP Development

Design, develop, and enhance custom objects using ABAP, OO ABAP, CDS Views, AMDPs, and BOPF.

Work on enhancements, user exits, BADIs, BAPIs, workflows, and performance tuning.

Support S / 4HANA-specific developments and modern ABAP practices.

SAP BTP

Build and deploy applications using SAP BTP services (Cloud Foundry, CAPM, RAP, UI5, BAS).

Develop extensions for S / 4HANA using BTP Extension Suite.

Integrate SAP systems with BTP services using APIs and OData.

Ariba CIG Integration

Configure and support Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG) for upstream and downstream modules.

Map, transform, and validate documents between S / 4HANA / ECC and Ariba.

Troubleshoot CIG transaction failures and coordinate with Ariba support teams.

Implement integration scenarios such as PO, PR, Invoices, ASN, and Supplier Lifecycle processes.

Required Skills

Strong experience in ABAP, CDS Views, AMDP, OData, and integration frameworks.

Hands-on experience with SAP BTP development (CAPM / RAP / UI5 preferred).

Proven experience working on Ariba CIG implementation or support projects .

Good understanding of Ariba procurement processes (nice to have).

Strong debugging, problem solving, and communication skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) experience.

Exposure to S / 4HANA implementation or conversion projects.

Knowledge of Clean Core extensibility.
