Job Overview

We’re looking for a Senior Python Developer to design and develop the core backend for our AI-powered platform. This role requires an experienced engineer who can work independently, design scalable systems, and integrate AI capabilities. You will be responsible for building high-performance backend services, APIs, and integrations with Google Cloud (GCP), Vertex AI, and Firestore, leveraging RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and vector search.

Key Responsibilities

Backend Architecture – Design and implement scalable backend solutions with a focus on performance, security, and reliability.
API Development – Build and maintain RESTful APIs using Swagger for documentation and integration.
Cloud & Data Management – Work with Firestore and optimize data handling for performance and scalability.
AI & Machine Learning Integration – Leverage Vertex AI, RAG, and vector search to enhance our AI-driven workflows.
Google Workspace Integrations – Develop solutions that integrate with Gmail, Calendar, Drive, and other productivity tools.
Automation & Workflow Optimization – Use Python scripting to automate tasks and improve system efficiency.
Security & Compliance – Implement best practices for OAuth, authentication, encryption, and user permissions.
Monitoring & Logging – Develop robust logging and error-handling mechanisms to support troubleshooting and system monitoring.
Collaboration – Work closely with Designer, front-end developer, and other teams to ensure seamless system functionality.

What We’re Looking For

10+ years of professional experience in Python development, with a strong track record in scalable applications.

Proficiency in Firestore, RAG, and vector search for handling structured and unstructured data.

Experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly Vertex AI, Firestore, and Cloud Storage.

Strong understanding of RESTful API development, including Swagger documentation.

Expertise in authentication and security protocols (OAuth, encryption, role-based access control).

Ability to work independently, make architectural decisions, and drive projects forward.

Strong problem-solving skills and experience debugging complex systems.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a cross-functional Agile team.
