Job description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance Java-based backend systems.
  • Work with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud to deploy and manage applications.
  • Integrate cloud services (e.g., storage, databases, monitoring, serverless functions) into Java-based applications.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth deployment and integration.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Implement secure and efficient APIs using RESTful principles.
  • Write unit tests and ensure quality assurance for software products.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve development processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

  • Strong proficiency in Java (J2EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate).
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture.
  • Experience with RESTful API development.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of CI / CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.
  • Familiarity with SQL / NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Experience with authentication and authorization (OAuth, JWT, etc.).
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

    • Preferred Skills :

  • Experience with serverless architecture in cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (Terraform, Jenkins, etc.).
  • Experience with API Gateway and other cloud-native services.
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
