About the Role :

The Manager, Cybersecurity Operations role will lead the Incident Response function locally in India in partnership with the broader Albertsons Companies Incident Response team.

In this critical role, you will help shape our processes to protect our organization against evolving cyber threats through proactive monitoring, rapid incident response, and actionable intelligence.

When our security systems detect threats, you will investigate the alert and respond to malicious activity in the Albertsons environment to mitigate the impact on the business.

You will partner with global Information Security team members, as well as key cross-functional teams such as Technology Operations and Privacy, to build and maintain a Cybersecurity Operations organization that meets the needs of a large-scale enterprise.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and develop a team of cybersecurity technical experts who perform investigations, incident response, and automate security workflows.
  • Manage a team of subject matter experts involved in Cloud Security, Application Security, and Data Security functions within the Cyber organization.
  • Be the primary owner of security incidents within the region and understand when to escalate serious issues for greater support when necessary.
  • Refine incident response processes and playbooks to ensure consistent and effective handling of security events.
  • Drive the development of security automation to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of team functions.
  • Tune detections to meet emerging threats and reduce false positives.
  • Leverage threat intelligence to drive improvements to our defense posture.
  • Contribute to improving key performance indicators and reporting on key risk indicators.

Qualifications :

  • 7-10 years of prior relevant experience in cybersecurity operations and delivery roles.
  • Proven track record managing security incidents and leveraging threat intelligence processes.
  • Strong understanding of the threat landscape, including attacker TTPs and defensive strategies.
  • Deep knowledge of security technologies such as email protection, endpoint detection and response, security information and event management platforms, firewalls, and more, and the ability to guide the appropriate configuration of these tools.
  • Experience collaborating with key stakeholder groups such as major incident management, privacy, and litigation.
  • Experience building or managing security automation and orchestration solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP or GCIH are strongly preferred.
