Role Summary :
Own the multi-year product roadmap for frontier categories (Autonomous pods, VTOL, Charging Infra, Batteries, and Energy storage). Energy and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) across stationary, mobility-linked, and modular applications. Build high-quality product briefs, define upgrade paths, and ensure alignment between customer needs, technology maturity, platform constraints, regulatory standards, and commercial viability.
Key Responsibilities :
- Drive planning for energy and frontier platforms. Evaluate future bets : robotics, micro-pods, personal aerial mobility, grid integration, smart home energy.
- Lead market segmentation, opportunity sizing, and use-case mapping across new mobility and energy ecosystems.
- Define performance envelopes (cycle life, throughput, energy, thermal, autonomy), upgrade paths, and risks for briefs. Create Product Briefs detailing value proposition, performance envelope (cycle life, throughput, degradation, thermal), platform alignment, upgrade paths, and risk / validation plans.
- Partner with technology modules (autonomous, energy / battery, ADAS, compute, thermal, power electronics). Collaborate to validate feasibility, integration, (software) dependencies and SOP windows.
- Integrate and incorporate insights from customer pilots, field data, degradation, policy shifts and market signals into roadmap iterations.
- Own dashboards for technical benchmarks, cost trajectories, safety standards, certification paths.
Ideal Profile :
5–8 years across EV tech, energy storage, advanced mobility, robotics, aviation, or hardware strategy.Understanding of lifecycle planning, module architectures, software / hardware interactions, and value–cost trade-offs.Exposure to safety standards, certification pathways, regulatory frameworks.Strong ability to translate user needs into structured requirements and upgrade plans.High comfort with ambiguity and multi-domain integration.
