Location : Remote / Hybrid (Preferred timezone : GST or IST)

Type : Full-time / Contract

Experience : 3–5 years in manual testing, with exposure to Web3 / crypto projects a strong plus

About the Role

We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in manual testing and a passion for ensuring high-quality product delivery in a fast-paced and evolving environment, particularly within the Web3 or blockchain space.

You’ll work closely with our developers, product team, and other stakeholders to ensure our platform is robust, secure, and delivers a seamless user experience. If you’re excited about contributing to a cutting-edge crypto project and take pride in breaking things to make them better—this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

Review and analyze product requirements and technical specifications.
Develop comprehensive test plans and detailed test cases for new features and releases.
Execute manual test cases efficiently and evaluate outcomes for quality assurance.
Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA or Trello.
Perform regression testing to ensure previously developed features still perform as expected.
Collaborate cross-functionally with developers and product managers to ensure timely releases.
Contribute to continuous improvement in testing processes and QA best practices.
Participate in Agile / Scrum ceremonies, providing insights from a QA perspective.
Stay informed about trends and tools in software testing and (optionally) the blockchain industry.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

3–5 years of hands-on experience in manual software testing.

Experience testing APIs using tools like Postman.

Solid understanding of QA methodologies, software development life cycle (SDLC), and bug life cycle.

Proficiency in creating clear and concise test plans and test cases.

Familiarity with bug tracking systems such as JIRA, Trello, or similar tools.

Experience working within Agile / Scrum teams.

Basic knowledge of SQL and ability to validate backend data.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to Have

Prior experience testing blockchain / Web3 applications (wallets, DeFi, DApps, etc.).

Familiarity with crypto wallets, smart contracts, or dApp testing.

Exposure to automation testing frameworks.

Understanding of security practices in Web3 QA environments.

A passion for crypto and curiosity to understand underlying technologies.
