Adobe Commerce Frontend Developer (Magento 2 – Luma Theme)

Remote | 🕒 Full-Time | 💼 4–6 Years Experience

We’re in the final stages of migrating our eCommerce site from Shopify to Adobe Commerce Cloud Pro (Magento 2) , with the base build handled by a certified SI using the Luma theme . We’re now looking to bring in an experienced Frontend Developer to own all frontend enhancements, maintenance, and UI customizations post-handover.

What You’ll Do

Customize and extend the Luma theme to meet business and UX / UI requirements
Modify PHTML templates , layout XML , and static blocks
Build responsive, mobile-first designs using HTML5, CSS3, LESS, Knockout.js, RequireJS
Develop custom UI components and CMS blocks
Integrate and style third-party themes and extensions
Collaborate with backend and design teams to ensure seamless UI / UX
Optimize for performance and accessibility across all modern browsers and devices

What We’re Looking For

4–6 years of hands-on experience in Magento 2 frontend development

Adobe Commerce Frontend Developer Certification

Experience in a B2B Adobe Commerce environment

Deep knowledge of the Luma theme , Magento layout architecture, and Knockout.js

Strong grasp of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility

Comfortable working in Adobe Commerce Cloud and Git-based deployment workflows

Ability to integrate 3rd-party design libraries or UI extensions
