This is a remote position.

The Opportunity :

At Pentoz, we are building next-generation eCommerce platforms that are fast, flexible, and customer-centric. As a Magento Developer, you will be at the forefront of delivering custom, scalable, and high-performing Magento-based websites for global brands across retail, healthcare, electronics, fashion, and B2B commerce. You’ll work on everything from theme customization to complex module development and third-party integrations.

This role is ideal for developers who are passionate about eCommerce technology, performance optimization, and user experience.

You Will Be Responsible For :

Magento Development : Designing, developing, and deploying Magento 2.x websites, extensions, and themes.

Customization & Optimization : Customizing the Magento backend and frontend, optimizing for speed, performance, and SEO.

Integration : Integrating Magento with ERP, CRM, payment gateways, shipping APIs, and third-party services.

Data Management : Handling product catalog setup, database optimization, and migration tasks.

Security & Maintenance : Applying patches, monitoring site performance, fixing bugs, and ensuring platform security.

Collaboration : Working with designers, marketers, and clients to understand business needs and implement solutions.

Testing & QA : Conducting unit testing, cross-browser testing, and ensuring responsive UI across devices.

This Role Is For You If :

You have 2–5 years of hands-on experience in Magento 2 development.

You are proficient in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

You understand Magento’s architecture, MVC patterns, and EAV model.

You have experience with custom module and theme development.

You are familiar with Git, Composer, and Magento CLI.

You can work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.

Bonus Points If You Have :

Magento 2 Developer Certification (Associate or Professional).

Experience with Magento headless / PWA (Progressive Web Apps) or Adobe Commerce Cloud.

Familiarity with tools like Elasticsearch, Redis, Varnish, and Docker.

Exposure to other eCommerce platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, or BigCommerce.

Knowledge of performance monitoring and analytics tools like New Relic or Google Tag Manager.
