Oracle Cloud Technical Consultant :

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Technical Consultant to deliver high-quality technical solutions across various Oracle Cloud ERP / HCM modules.

The role involves requirement gathering, technical design, development, customization, integration, and support of Oracle Cloud applications in close collaboration with functional consultants and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

Technical Design & Development :

  • Design and develop technical solutions including Reports (BI Publisher / OTBI), Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, and Workflows (RICEW).
  • Build custom objects using Oracle Visual Builder (VB Studio), Application Composer, and Groovy scripts.
  • Develop integrations between Oracle Cloud modules and third-party applications using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).

Integration & Data Migration :

  • Design and build inbound / outbound integrations using OIC, REST / SOAP Web Services, and File-Based Data Import (FBDI) / ADFdi templates.
  • Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) using Oracle data migration tools.
  • Develop and execute data validation scripts and reconciliation reports for legacy-to-cloud migrations.

    • Reporting & Extensions :

  • Develop and customize reports using BI Publisher, OTBI, and Smart View.
  • Build Dashboards and KPIs using Oracle Cloud analytics tools.
  • Create and maintain fast formulas, value sets, and custom security roles where applicable.

    • Support & Troubleshooting :

  • Provide technical support for Oracle Cloud post-implementation issues.
  • Work on incident, change, and release management processes for Oracle Cloud solutions.
  • Resolve issues by analyzing logs, configurations, and debugging code where required.

    • Collaboration & Documentation :

  • Work with functional teams to understand business processes and develop scalable technical solutions.
  • Create technical design documents (MD50, TE20, CV40) and user documentation.
  • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and peer collaboration sessions.

    • Technical Skills Required :

    Core Oracle Cloud Skills :

  • Oracle Cloud ERP (Financials, Procurement, Projects), HCM, or SCM modules
  • Experience with OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud) REST APIs, SOAP, B2B integrations
  • BI Publisher, OTBI, Smart View, ADFdi, FBDI, HDL

    • Development & Scripting :

  • SQL, PL / SQL, XML, XSLT, JavaScript, Shell scripting
  • Groovy scripting (for HCM or VB Studio)
  • Oracle SQL Developer, JDeveloper, and Visual Builder Studio

    • Tools & Environments :

  • Source control systems (Git, Bitbucket)
  • Oracle SaaS tools HDL (HCM Data Loader), PaaS extensions
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Fusion Middleware and WebLogic (added advantage)

    • Soft Skills :

  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Collaborative, team-oriented attitude

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
