Key Responsibilities :

Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for Pega applications using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
Design and implement test automation frameworks and reusable components.
Collaborate with Pega developers, business analysts, and QA teams to understand application functionality and define test scenarios.
Analyze requirements and design detailed test cases for functional, regression, and performance testing.
Perform manual testing as needed, especially for complex workflows or new features.
Integrate automated test suites with CI / CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and faster releases.
Identify, document, and track defects and work closely with the development team for resolution.
Participate in test planning, estimation, and status reporting.
Stay updated with the latest testing tools, technologies, and best practices in Pega and automation testing.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

6+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on automation.

Strong experience in Pega PRPC (Pega Platform) testing, including understanding of Pega case management and business process workflows.

Proficient in Java programming for developing test automation scripts.

Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and test automation frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit.

Experience with Pega testing tools and methodologies.

Solid understanding of manual and automated testing concepts, including functional, regression, integration, and system testing.

Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and UI testing techniques.

Familiarity with CI / CD tools like Jenkins, Git, Maven, or similar.

Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, or Zephyr.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills :

Certification in Pega or relevant testing certifications (ISTQB, Selenium Certification) is a plus.

Experience with API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.

Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) is an advantage.

Exposure to Agile / Scrum methodologies and environments
