Job Summary : The Functional Support Specialist will be responsible for providing expert support and guidance to our Operations team, ensuring the effective use and optimization of the Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations platform. This role provides Level 2 service desk support and involves troubleshooting business process and functional issues, security issues, system configuration issues, and collaborating with various stakeholders to resolve incidents and service requests raised and enhance operational efficiency. The role is focused on the Operations side of D365 F&O, but the candidate should be familiar with the Finance functionality as well.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3 - 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations in a functional capacity.
- Proven experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, particularly in Operations modules and ability to provide functional support to our user base and Business Process Owner. Knowledge of the Finance modules a plus.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system functionality, user access, and data integrity.
- Collaborate with the Operations team to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Configure and customize system settings to optimize operational processes.
- Conduct training sessions and create documentation to support end-users.
- Work closely with other IT teams and departments to ensure seamless integration and system performance.
- Monitor system performance and implement improvements as needed.
- Understanding of service desk and L2 support processes.
- Stay updated with the latest features and updates of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
- Strong understanding of business processes and operational workflows.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders across a global team.
- Experience in system configuration and customization.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- The ideal candidate would hold certification in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
- The ideal candidate would have knowledge of and / or experience with D365 Finance modules.
