Job Description
As an Insurance Sales Manager (POSP Channel) , you will lead the recruitment, training, and performance of POSP agents (Point of Sales Persons) to drive motor, health, and general insurance sales. You will work at the intersection of insurance sales , field operations , and channel management , helping scale our retail insurance presence in collaboration with leading insurers.
Key Responsibilities
Recruit & Onboard POSP Agents : Identify, enroll, and certify insurance agents under IRDAI guidelines.
Drive Sales Performance : Achieve monthly / quarterly targets in motor, health & SME insurance through the POSP network.
Field Sales & Distribution : Manage on-ground execution across multiple locations within Gujarat.
Team Management : Monitor, mentor, and motivate POSPs for performance and retention.
Compliance & Documentation : Ensure complete adherence to IRDAI regulations, licensing, and KYC protocols.
Coordination with Partners : Work closely with insurance companies for training, claims support, and policy issuance.
Requirements
Experience : 3–6 years in insurance sales, field sales, or POSP / agency / channel management.
Industry Background : Preferably from general insurance, health insurance, bancassurance, or automobile sector.
Education : Graduate in any field (Commerce, Business, or Finance preferred).
Location : Must be based in Gujarat or open to relocation.
