Job description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and Maintain Web Applications : Build and maintain responsive web applications using React.js, HTML, and CSS.
  • Component Development : Design and implement reusable UI components and libraries in React.js.
  • API Integration : Integrate and consume RESTful APIs and / or GraphQL APIs to support dynamic data interactions within the application.
  • Performance Optimization : Optimize application performance by identifying and addressing bottlenecks and improving code efficiency.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with designers, product managers, and backend developers to ensure alignment with project requirements and goals.
  • Code Quality : Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of development practices.
  • Troubleshooting : Debug and resolve issues related to UI, performance, and data interactions.
  • Stay Updated : Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to web development and React.js.

Qualifications :

  • Experience : Minimum of 8 to 10 years of professional experience in front-end web development with a focus on React.js, HTML, CSS, and API integration. Experience working with eCommerce (Shopify / BigCommerce / Adobe Commerce / Optimizely Commerce etc) and / or CMS platforms (Optimizely CMS / Contentful / Contentstack / Storyblock.io)
  • Proficiency in React.js : Strong experience with React.js and related libraries (e.g., Redux, React Router).
  • HTML & CSS : Expertise in modern HTML5 and CSS3, with a solid understanding of responsive design principles and frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS).
  • API Integration : Experience with consuming and integrating RESTful APIs and / or GraphQL APIs.
  • Version Control : Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
  • Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Communication : Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
