Role Summary :
The R&D Lead will drive the strategy, design, and execution of the client's product and tool development roadmap, focusing on DevOps tooling, low-code automation, and cloud-native solutions. You will lead a talented team to deliver scalable, resilient, and innovative solutions, collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders. This leadership role is pivotal in shaping the client's product vision, accelerating time-to-market, and ensuring technical excellence in a rapidly evolving landscape.
Key Responsibilities :
Product & Tool Strategy : Develop and execute a comprehensive R&D strategy aligned with product objectives and business goals.Design & Architecture : Architect and review scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions using microservices, containers, and service mesh.Roadmap & Assessment : Conduct assessments, define product features, and create detailed roadmaps for new and existing solutions.Technology Selection : Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and low-code / no-code platforms for rapid delivery.Technical Leadership : Guide and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.Performance & Quality : Oversee optimization, testing, validation, and automation to ensure high product reliability and performance.Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with developers, DevOps, architects, and business stakeholders to align technical and business objectives.Documentation & Governance : Establish and maintain documentation, governance policies, and standards for consistency and compliance.Continuous Improvement : Drive experimentation, adoption of new technologies, and knowledge sharing within the team.KPI Ownership : Define and track key metrics (e.g., time-to-market reduction, solution adoption rate, performance bottlenecks resolved)..Experience & Qualifications :
12-14 years of experience in software / product R&D, with at least 5 years in technical leadership roles.Proven track record in product / tool development, especially in DevOps, cloud-native, and automation domains.Strong architecture and design skills for scalable, resilient, and secure solutions.Proficiency in Java and Python; familiarity with frameworks such as Spring Boot and Django.Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI / CD pipelines.Deep understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies and ability to manage multiple projects.Experience in implementing testing frameworks, automation, and security / compliance standards.Strong communication, documentation, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.Innovation mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and technology adoption.Desirable Skills :
Experience with low-code / no-code platforms.Exposure to analytics and insights for product optimization.Certification in cloud, DevOps, or architecture domains.Prior experience working with distributed teams across time zones.Why Join?
