Role Overview :
As a Kronos Developer , you will play a pivotal role in designing, configuring, and implementing Kronos Workforce Management solutions. You will work closely with business and IT teams to develop, customize, and optimize Kronos applications to meet business needs and drive operational efficiency. Your expertise in Kronos configuration, integration , and customization will be crucial to the success of this role.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and configure Kronos Workforce Management applications, including modules such as Time & Attendance , Scheduling , Absence Management , Workforce Analytics , and Labor Scheduling .
- Customize and configure Kronos solutions based on business requirements, ensuring that they are scalable, maintainable, and meet compliance needs.
- Integrate Kronos with other enterprise systems , including HRIS , Payroll , ERP systems , and other third-party applications using web services , APIs , and data connectors .
- Develop reports and dashboards using Kronos Analytics to provide insights into workforce performance, labor utilization, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure the smooth implementation of Kronos upgrades and manage version control for customization and configurations.
- Work closely with business stakeholders and functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective Kronos solutions.
- Provide technical support for troubleshooting issues related to Kronos applications and resolve system-related incidents.
- Test and validate Kronos solutions, including unit testing , system testing , and user acceptance testing (UAT) .
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, industry regulations, and internal policies in all Kronos implementations.
- Train end-users and provide knowledge sharing to enhance the overall usage and effectiveness of Kronos applications.
- Maintain documentation of all Kronos configurations, customizations, integrations, and troubleshooting procedures.
Required Qualifications and Skills :
5 to 10 years of experience in Kronos Workforce Management , including configuration, customization, and integration.Strong knowledge of Kronos modules , including Time & Attendance , Scheduling , Absence Management , Workforce Analytics , and Labor Scheduling .Hands-on experience with Kronos Workforce Central or Kronos Dimensions .Experience in Kronos integrations using APIs , web services , and other integration tools.Proficiency in Kronos Analytics for creating reports and dashboards to track workforce performance and labor data.Strong understanding of labor law compliance , including overtime, labor rules, and scheduling regulations.Familiarity with cloud-based Kronos solutions and Kronos workforce management on cloud .Proficient in SQL , XML , and other data manipulation techniques for Kronos-related integrations.Experience with Kronos upgrade management , patches , and ensuring smooth transitions during system upgrades.Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.Bachelors degree in Computer Science , Information Technology , or a related field.Kronos Certification (such as Kronos Certified Workforce Central Developer or similar) is highly desirable.Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with internal teams and clients at all levels.Preferred Experience :
Experience with Kronos Workforce Dimensions or other cloud-based Kronos solutions.Knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies for project delivery.Familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g., PeopleSoft , Workday , or SAP HR ).Ability to work with large datasets and create data-driven insights in a Kronos environment.Experience with Kronos Mobile and Kronos Workforce Ready solutions.Exposure to Kronos R&D for developing new functionalities and customizations in the platform.Why Join Us?
