Position : Data Migration Engineer

Experience : 4 to 6 Years

Location : Noida / Bhubaneswar

We are hiring a Data Migration Engineer with strong expertise in data integration, ETL pipelines, and cloud-based data platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience working across both relational and NoSQL databases and will contribute to large-scale data migration and transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities :

Design and implement ETL pipelines for data migration and integration
Perform data ingestion, transformation, and optimization in Google BigQuery
Work with structured and unstructured data across relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB) databases
Write and optimize complex SQL queries and develop custom ETL scripts using Python or Shell
Use ETL tools such as Talend, Apache NiFi, Informatica, or AWS Glue for data processing
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high data quality and integrity
Work within cloud environments including AWS, GCP, or Azure

Required Skills :

46 years of hands-on experience in data migration and ETL development

Strong command over SQL, data modeling, and schema design

Familiarity with cloud data warehouses (BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake)

Experience with data workflow orchestration tools (Apache Airflow, DBT)

Understanding of data security, masking, encryption, and compliance practices

Preferred Skills :

Experience with streaming data tools like Kafka, Debezium, Google Dataflow

Knowledge of federated queries and BigQuery performance tuning

Experience in managing complex migrations with minimal supervision

Soft Skills :

Strong analytical and problem-solving ability

Excellent communication and team collaboration

Attention to detail and focus on data quality under tight deadlines
