Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data QA Engineer to join our team in Hyderabad. With over 6 years of proven experience in quality assurance, focusing heavily on database and automation testing, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of our data and data-driven applications. We're looking for a proactive individual who can join us immediately or with a short notice period.

Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases specifically for data validation, data integrity, and ETL processes.
• Utilize advanced SQL queries to perform thorough database testing, including data validation, referential integrity checks, and performance testing on large datasets.
• Develop and maintain robust test automation scripts using tools like Selenium, Playwright, or other relevant frameworks for both data processing flows and application interfaces.
• Collaborate closely with data engineers, developers, and business analysts to understand data flows, system architecture, and business requirements.
• Identify, document, and track defects, working with development teams to ensure timely resolution and retesting.
• Implement and contribute to CI / CD pipelines for automated data quality checks and test execution.
• Perform root cause analysis for data-related issues and propose preventive measures.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and tools, with a strong focus on data quality.
• Participate in all phases of the SDLC to ensure quality is embedded from the start.
