General Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled and reliable General Maintenance Technician to join our team in Mysuru India. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various equipment and facilities to ensure smooth operations across our organization. Were looking for a detailoriented and collaborative professional who can efficiently handle a wide range of maintenance tasks.

• Perform routine inspections of machinery equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs
• Conduct preventive maintenance tasks on a scheduled basis to minimize downtime and extend equipment life
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical electrical and plumbing systems as needed
• Operate and maintain various tools and machinery including drill presses lathes millers shapers grinders and thread cutters
• Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment and machinery
• Monitor and maintain heating boilers and related systems
• Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance issues and improve overall facility operations
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities repairs and inventory of supplies
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean organized work environment
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and provide solutions in a timely manner
