Job descriptionWrite high-quality, SEO-optimized content for service pages, blog posts, landing pages, and product pages Ensure all content follows UK spelling, grammar, formatting, and tone Structure content with appropriate headings (H1, H2, H3) and maintain keyword alignment Collaborate with the SEO team to execute content plans based on keyword strategy and user intent Suggest internal links and meta content where relevant Write clear, concise FAQs and structured content that aligns with snippet and schema opportunities Continuously review and improve existing content for performance and relevance Minimum of 5 years’ experience writing SEO content for technology, SaaS, telecom, or IT industries Excellent command of written UK English, including tone, spelling, and style Proven ability to write human-generated, value-driven content from scratch Strong understanding of SEO content fundamentals including keyword placement, meta tags, and internal linking Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, or SurferSEO is a plus Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently All submitted work will be manually reviewed for authenticity. About The VoIP Shop
The VoIP Shop is a UK-based telecom and VoIP services provider delivering cloud phone systems, AI answering services, and unified communication solutions to businesses across the United Kingdom.
We are currently expanding our in-house SEO and content team. We are looking for a professional SEO Content Writer who can create original, high-quality content tailored for a UK-based business audience .
This is an India-based position that will work closely with our UK-focused SEO and marketing strategy.
Role Overview
This role is ideal for someone who :
- Writes original, human-created content without the use of AI
- Understands how to write for UK-based B2B audiences in the telecom and technology space
- Can balance SEO best practices with clarity, credibility, and user value
- Has experience producing well-structured, keyword-optimized articles, landing pages, and product guides
