Senior / Lead SAP Consultant - Integration Architecture

About the Role :

We are seeking an exceptionally skilled and visionary Senior / Lead SAP Consultant with 10-12+ years of extensive experience to join our fully remote consulting team.

In this pivotal role, you will serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to clients, leading the architecture, design, and delivery of complex, large-scale SAP transformations.

You will be responsible for guiding project teams, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring the successful realization of business value through SAP solutions.

This role demands deep module expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and excellent client-facing skills in a remote Responsibilities :

• Solution Architecture & Strategy : Lead the architectural design and overall solution strategy for complex SAP implementations, upgrades, and transformations, particularly with SAP S / 4HANA.
• Client Advisory : Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance on SAP best practices, process optimization, and technology roadmap alignment with business objectives.
• Pre-Sales & Scoping : Contribute to pre-sales activities, solutioning, effort estimation, and proposal development for new engagements.
• Team Leadership & Mentorship : Lead and mentor cross-functional SAP project teams, ensuring adherence to quality standards, project timelines, and budget.
• Provide technical and functional guidance to less experienced consultants.
• Complex Configuration & Customization Management : Oversee and guide highly complex configuration activities within multiple SAP modules.
• Drive the design and management of custom development (RICEF objects) and integrations with other systems.
• Quality Assurance & Risk Management : Own the overall quality assurance for SAP solutions, ensuring robust testing strategies, managing critical defects, and identifying potential risks.
• Stakeholder Management : Manage relationships with senior client stakeholders, steering committees, and internal leadership, effectively communicating project status, risks, and strategic recommendations.
• Innovation & Thought Leadership : Stay at the forefront of SAP innovations (e.g., S / 4HANA Cloud, BTP, AI / ML in SAP), provide thought leadership, and contribute to internal knowledge sharing and asset development.
• Delivery Excellence : Drive delivery excellence, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality Skills & Experience :
• Overall Experience : 10-12+ years of extensive, hands-on experience as an SAP Functional or Technical Consultant in multiple full lifecycle implementations.
• Multi-Module Expertise : Deep, expert-level functional / technical expertise in at least three or more core SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, FI, CO, PP, QM, WM, HCM, ABAP, BTP, CPI / PO), with a proven ability to lead complex integrations between them.
• SAP S / 4HANA Leadership : Strong leadership experience in multiple SAP S / 4HANA greenfield implementations, brownfield conversions, or significant transformation projects.
• Understanding of embedded analytics, Fiori UX.
• Integration Architecture : Proven experience in designing and guiding complex SAP integration architectures using various technologies (e.g., IDoc, RFC, BAPI, CPI, PO / PI, OData, API Management).
• Industry Knowledge : Strong understanding of business processes within one or more key industries.
• Client Management & Presentation : Exceptional client-facing skills, including executive-level communication, negotiation, workshop facilitation, and compelling presentation abilities.
• Project Methodology : Expert knowledge and practical experience with SAP Activate methodology and Agile / Waterfall approaches.
• Remote Delivery : Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver complex SAP projects successfully in a fully remote environment.
• Problem-Solving & Strategy : Superior analytical, strategic thinking, and complex problem-solving capabilities.
• Certifications : Multiple relevant SAP certifications (e.g., S / 4HANA, specific modules, SAP Activate) are highly preferred.
