Job descriptionExperience or familiarity with big data tools such as Hadoop, Spark, Hive Exposure to other testing tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or JUnit Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts for validating ETL pipelines and data workflows Perform comprehensive data validation using SQL queries Collaborate with data engineers and development teams to ensure test coverage and timely delivery Execute tests in a cloud-native and containerized environment Identify, log, and track defects throughout the development cycle Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and QA reviews Maintain proper test documentation and test coverage metrics Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and automation frameworks

Job Summary :
We are looking for an experienced Automation Tester with a strong background in ETL testing and data validation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building automation frameworks, validating complex data pipelines, and working with cloud environments. This role demands strong technical skills in SQL, Docker, cloud platforms, and automation tools like Pytest or Scalatest.
Mandatory Skills :
- Strong experience in ETL testing is a must
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Pytest or Scalatest
- Proficiency in SQL for complex data validation
- Working knowledge of Docker for containerized environments
- Experience working on any cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
