Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Pune for a Power Electronics Engineer. As a Power Electronics Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and testing high-performance power electronic systems and circuits, including switch-mode power supplies, motor drives, and battery systems. You will also work closely with other Engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 3-5+ years of experience in Embedded or Power Electronics or Power Conversion Systems
• Strong ability to design and develop switch-mode power supplies, motor drives, and battery systems
• Familiarity with relevant simulation and CAD tools such as Matlab / Simulink, PSpice, Altium, and LTSpice
• Experience with design for EMC / EMI considerations and testing
• Good understanding of analog and digital circuit design, control theory, and magnetic design
• Strong ability to debug and troubleshoot complex power systems and circuits
• Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams and excellent communication skills
• Experience with Automotive, Aerospace, and Defense industries is a plus
• Understanding of regulatory compliance standards, such as UL, CE, and ETSI
• Experience with PCB layout is a plus

Candidates with prior experience with Formula Student, Robotics or EV based projects have better chances to qualify.
