Job description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Experience in the ultrasonic machinery industry is a significant advantage for this position.
  • Sales Strategy Development : Design and implement sales strategies aimed at achieving revenue growth and market expansion in the machinery and automobile sectors. Identify new market opportunities and develop plans to capture them.
  • Team Leadership : Lead, coach, and motivate a high-performing sales team. Set clear objectives, provide continuous support, and track the performance of each team member to ensure sales targets are consistently met.
  • Business Development : Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including distributors, dealers, and direct customers. Expand the company’s customer base by identifying and targeting new clients and opportunities.
  • Sales Target Management : Set sales targets for the team, monitor progress, and ensure goals are met. Drive team motivation and performance to consistently meet or exceed sales objectives.
  • Customer Relationship Management : Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients. Ensure that customers’ needs are being met and that their expectations are exceeded through excellent service and support.
  • Sales Presentations & Negotiations : Lead sales meetings, conduct product demonstrations, and negotiate pricing and terms with clients. Ensure that all proposals and contracts align with company policies and profitability goals.
  • Market Research & Analysis : Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market demands. Provide insights and feedback to senior management regarding market conditions and product performance.
  • Sales Reporting & Forecasting : Track sales performance, forecast future sales, and generate detailed reports for management. Use data-driven insights to adapt sales strategies and improve performance.
  • Handling Enquires from Customers from Various industries Like Automobiles Electrical & Electronics, Medical, Aerospace, etc.
  • Understanding & Responding to RFQ, and RFP, shared by customer based on their requirement. Visiting customer places and PDI visits to understand their Requirement.
  • Sharing Techno-Commercial Offers to customers, Negotiating & getting the sales.
  • Follow up with customers on Payments based on the PO terms.
  • Assisting & Collaborating with the Accounts team on ABG, and PBG based on customer's requirements.
  • Coordinate with Project Manager till the end of existing and new projects.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams : Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure seamless product launches, promotional campaigns, and after-sales support.
  • Exhibit and Event Participation : Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events. Network with potential clients and stay informed about the latest industry trends and products.

Qualifications & Experience :

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics or any other related fields. A Master’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or additional certifications in sales or business development is a plus.
  • Indiamart Sales Management : Manage and optimize the company’s presence on Indiamart, ensuring timely and effective responses to inquiries, identifying sales leads, and converting them into business opportunities. Monitor and track performance on the platform to maximize results.
  • Sales Strategy Development : Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies for both Indiamart and traditional sales channels, aimed at expanding the customer base, increasing sales volume, and achieving revenue growth within the machinery and automobile sectors.
  • Experience :

    o 8 to 9 years of proven sales experience within the machinery or automobile industries.

    o Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in competitive markets.

    o Extensive experience in managing key accounts, including distributors, dealers, and direct clients in the machinery or automotive sectors.

    o Hands-on experience in handling B2B sales and long sales cycles.

    Skills :

    o Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

    o Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience in mentoring and developing a sales team.

    o Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Indiamart) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

    o Deep understanding of the machinery and automobile sectors, including customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscapes.

    o Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, driving repeat business and customer loyalty.
