Technical Writer

Required Qualifications (Must-Have) :

Experience : 8-12 years of demonstrable experience in technical writing, technical content development, or a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced technology company.

Technical Acumen : Strong ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts, software architectures, APIs, and development processes (e.g., REST APIs, microservices, cloud computing, programming languages like Python, Java, JavaScript, C#).

Writing & Editing : Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with an impeccable command of English grammar, syntax, and style. Ability to write clearly, concisely, and accurately for technical audiences.

Attention to Detail : Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness in all documentation.

Documentation Tools : Proficiency with documentation tools and methodologies (e.g., Markdown, reStructuredText, AsciiDoc, DITA, XML authoring tools, Git for version control, Confluence, Readme.io, Swagger / OpenAPI).

Collaboration : Proven experience working effectively within cross-functional teams (engineering, product, support, marketing).

Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying documentation needs and solutions.

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technical Communication, English, Journalism, or a related field.

Desired Qualifications (Good-to-Have) :

• Familiarity with Agile / Scrum development methodologies.
• Experience with video tutorials, interactive guides, or other multimedia content formats.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices for technical content.
• Experience with localization / internationalization of documentation.
• Certification in Technical Communication (e.g., CPTC).
