About the Role

Valkyrie People Consulting is hiring for a reputed client in the healthcare sector to identify a dynamic and process-driven Director – Operations . Based in Delhi , this role is ideal for a seasoned healthcare operations leader with a strong understanding of hospital management, patient care systems, regulatory frameworks, and multi-unit coordination.

The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring smooth, efficient, and patient-centric operations across one or more hospital facilities or healthcare business units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage end-to-end hospital or healthcare operations with a focus on patient experience, clinical efficiency, and service excellence
  • Oversee daily administration including infrastructure, vendor management, biomedical services, housekeeping, and facility compliance
  • Implement quality improvement programs, SOPs, and cost-efficiency initiatives across operational functions
  • Liaise with medical, nursing, and support teams to ensure seamless coordination and high-quality service delivery
  • Monitor KPIs for occupancy, turnaround time, clinical outcomes, and regulatory adherence
  • Drive digital enablement and technology adoption across operational processes
  • Engage with internal leadership and external regulatory authorities on strategic and compliance matters
  • Lead and mentor cross-functional operational teams to build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

Candidate Profile

  • 15+ years of experience in healthcare or hospital operations , with at least 5 years in a leadership or pan-unit role
  • Strong understanding of healthcare standards, hospital administration, and accreditation frameworks (e.g., NABH, JCI)
  • Proven track record in driving operational transformation and process excellence in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • MBA in Hospital Administration / Healthcare Management or equivalent qualification preferred
