Job description

Experience required :

14+ years of IT experience specializing in Azure DevOps, cloud service management, and automation, delivering scalable solutions across industries like technology, pharma, insurance, and IT.
Expert in Azure cloud infrastructure design using Terraform, CI / CD pipelines, PowerShell, ARM templates, and Azure DevOps to implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Proficient in DevOps practices, including seamless code deployments, updates, and microservice architecture transitions, while managing risk and ensuring continuous delivery.
Skilled in cloud security and governance, with hands-on experience in managing IAM roles, RBAC models in Azure, Security Groups, ACLs, and Azure DevOps policies

Responsibilities :

Supports the IMO to FMO transition activities to enable >4000 servers to be operated on the Cloud Platform.

Supports in Solution-Design for onboarding of cloud-based infrastructure components (e.g. VM Instance based Linux or Windows Servers)

Interacts with Demand Management and Platform Customers to ensure appropriate solution delivery

Designs Monitoring of utilization, performance and availability of system components & services

Conducts log analysis and patch management to ensure high system integrity and security

Contributes to planning and implementation of failure and disaster recovery tests

Utilizes DevOps principles & tools to devise work strategies for automated processes to deploy & maintain virtual datacenter components in our cloud stacks.

Creates and maintains strategies to avoid risks and enable disaster recovery

Train existing and new staff in cloud technology and new ways of working

Qualifications :

Minimum Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

More than 8 years of experience in IT related industries

Proven experience in Cloud Migration projects in global environments

Multiple years of experience with enterprise grade cloud computing and orchestration (based on Azure)

Profound experience in applying Infrastructure as Code (IaC) paradigms

DevOps mindset

Preferred applied tool knowledge : Terraform, CHEF, GIT, Jenkins, AZURE DevOps

Basic knowledge of ITIL processes (Foundation Level)

Basic knowledge of IT security regulations and standards such as ISO 27001

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across diverse organizations, groups and functions

Flexible thinker able to operate in a changing environment

Fluent Business English (written and spoken)
