Accounts Payable Lead

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Lead to join a rapidly growing SaaS organization headquartered in Bangalore . Check out the details below :

Position : Accounts Payable Lead

Location : Bangalore

Qualification : CA / CA Inter

Experience : 8+ years

Industry : Fast-growing SaaS Company

Notice Period : Immediate Joiners Only

Must Have : Proficiency in accounting software (Oracle NetSuite preferred)

Key Responsibilities :

1. Invoice Processing :

Receive, review, and approve invoices for payments in accordance with company agreements.

2. Payment Processing :

Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.

Post transactions to journals, ledgers, and other financial records.

3. Account Reconciliation :

Reconcile accounts payable transactions.

Monitor accounts to ensure payments are current and accurate.

Resolve invoice discrepancies and related issues.

4. Vendor Management :

Maintain up-to-date vendor files and contact information.

Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries.

Assist with vendor statement reconciliations.

5. Financial Reporting :

Support month-end closing activities (prepaid amortization, fixed asset depreciation, accruals, flux analysis).

Assist with year-end closing activities including 1099 & 1042 reporting.

Prepare and analyze accounts payable reports.

Support the preparation of financial statements and audits.

6. Compliance and Controls :

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and statutory requirements (TDS, TCS, GST, MSME).

Maintain accurate historical financial records.

Assist in the implementation and maintenance of internal controls.

7. Continuous Improvement :

Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement effective solutions.

Stay updated with industry best practices and evolving regulatory requirements.

Qualifications :

Education : CA / CA Inter with 8+ years of experience in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Skills :

Proficiency in accounting software ( Oracle NetSuite preferred )

Strong understanding of accounts payable principles

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Excellent organizational and time management abilities

High attention to detail and accuracy

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
