Overview :

We are seeking experienced QA Automation Engineers with a minimum of 5 years of experience for our Diversity Hiring Referral Program. The ideal candidates will have a robust technical background in automation testing, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.

Software Requirements :

  • Proficiency in automation testing using one or more of the following technologies :

Selenium Java Web and API Automation : Selenium WebDriver, Java, REST Assured

  • Selenium Expert : Selenium WebDriver, Java / Python, TestNG / JUnit
  • SDET and API : Java / Python, REST Assured, Postman, JMeter, Cucumber
  • API Testing : Postman, REST Assured, Swagger, SoapUI
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Understanding of CI / CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, or similar.
  • Knowledge of database management (SQL / NoSQL).
  • Experience with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) is a plus.

    • Overall Responsibilities :

  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

    • Category-wise Technical Skills :

    Automation Testing :

    Selenium WebDriver, Java / Python

  • REST Assured, Postman, SoapUI
  • TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber

    • API Testing : REST API, SOAP API

  • Postman, Swagger
  • JMeter for performance testing

    • CI / CD and DevOps : Jenkins, Bamboo

  • Docker, Kubernetes

    • Database Management :

    SQL : MySQL, PostgreSQL

  • NoSQL : MongoDB

    • Test Management : JIRA, TestRail

    Experience :

  • Minimum of 5 years in QA automation testing.
  • Proven track record in developing robust automated test frameworks.
  • Experience in Agile / Scrum development methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor junior QA engineers.

    • Day-to-Day Activities :

  • Writing and maintaining automated test scripts.
  • Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback.
  • Collaborating with developers, product managers, and UX / UI designers to understand application functionalities and testing requirements.
  • Troubleshooting and debugging test failures and application issues.
  • Engaging in daily stand-up meetings and sprint planning.

    • Qualifications :

  • Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Certification in relevant technologies (preferred).

    • Soft Skills :

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
