Role Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Social Media Marketing Intern with strong skills in videography, video editing, and a working knowledge of SEO to join our dynamic marketing team. This role is ideal for someone who is creative, detail-oriented, and eager to build a strong foundation in digital marketing and content creation.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, shoot, and edit video content for platforms including Instagram Reels, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Facebook. Assist in developing creative assets for social media campaigns using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite. Conduct keyword research and apply SEO best practices to enhance content visibility. Manage the content calendar and schedule posts across various platforms. Monitor social media trends and adapt content strategies accordingly. Support reporting and analytics to track content performance and engagement metrics. Collaborate cross-functionally with the design, content, and marketing teams.

Required Qualifications

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree / diploma in Marketing, Media, Communication, or a related field. Strong hands-on experience in video production and editing (using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar). Familiarity with basic SEO concepts and tools such as Google Keyword Planner, Ubersuggest, or SEMrush. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred Skills

Experience with motion graphics or animation tools (e.g., After Effects). Basic knowledge of social media analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, YouTube Studio, LinkedIn Analytics). Prior experience managing social media accounts or content pages (personal or professional).
