We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team, focusing exclusively on transforming raw footage into high-quality, engaging video content that drives our clients' marketing success.

Responsibilities

As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of video production, from initial concept refinement to final delivery. Your core responsibilities will include :

Editing & Post-Production : Assemble, cut, and polish raw footage into finished, compelling videos for various digital platforms, including social media (Reels, Shorts, Instagram stories), websites, and paid advertisements.

Short-Form Content Mastery : Focus on producing high-impact, short-form video content optimized for platforms like Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts to maximize engagement and virality.

Motion Graphics & Visual Effects : Incorporate basic motion graphics, text overlays, captions, lower thirds, and visual effects to enhance storytelling and content professionalism.

Audio & Color Correction : Professionally manage audio mixing, sound design, and color grading / correction to ensure a high-quality, consistent look and feel across all videos.

Collaboration : Work closely with the marketing strategists, content creators, and clients to understand project goals, brand guidelines, and target audience to ensure video content aligns with overall marketing objectives.

Workflow Management : Maintain an organized workflow, manage project files, and deliver final videos on time, adhering strictly to required specifications and deadlines.

Trend Awareness : Stay current with the latest social media video trends, editing techniques, and software advancements to keep our content fresh and competitive.

Requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a proven ability to deliver excellent video results in a fast-paced environment.

Experience : 1 - 2 years of professional experience in video editing, preferably within a marketing agency or for branded content.

Software Proficiency : Expert proficiency in industry-standard video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects .

Technical Skills : Strong understanding of video codecs, file formats, aspect ratios, and optimization techniques for various platforms (vertical / horizontal / square).

Storytelling : A keen eye for visual aesthetics, pacing, music selection, and narrative structure to craft impactful and emotionally engaging videos.

Portfolio : A strong professional portfolio showcasing a range of video editing work, with a focus on short-form social media content.

Self-Starter : Proven ability to work independently, manage a heavy workload, and thrive in a remote work environment.

Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective remote collaboration.

Bonus Points

Experience with advanced motion graphics, 3D software, or specialized visual effects.

Familiarity with sound mixing and audio restoration software (e.g., Adobe Audition).

Work Type

This is a Full-Time, Work from Home position. The candidate must be based in or around Chennai as occasional in-person meetings may be required for team collaboration, training, or client projects. All necessary collaboration and project management will primarily be conducted through online tools.
