Mental Health Clinician, Part-time / Sessional, TAS - Burnie

The headspace Clinical Team are seeking an experienced youth focussed Mental Health Clinician to work in their Devonport and Burnie headspace Centres. You will work under the direction of the Clinical Lead and Centre Manager and will be responsible for :

• providing a therapeutic and case management service for young people presenting with, mild to moderate mental health challenges
• delivering evidence based psychological interventions, that are culturally appropriate for both groups and individual.
• delivering psychosocial education to young people, families / caregivers and community groups
• providing secondary consultation as required

What we offer

What you’ll need

Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Mental Health Nursing.

Desirable

Post graduate qualifications and / or previous experience working in the youth mental health sector and / or primary healthcare environment.
