Position Overview :
We are seeking a visionary and experienced professional to take charge as India Head to spearhead our Sales and drive brand expansion in one of the most dynamic and high-potential markets. This role is central to the company’s growth vision and offers an opportunity to build the India business from the ground up — including team creation, channel setup, branding, and market development.
The India Head will be responsible for crafting the long-term strategy and executing a robust business development plan to establish the company as a premium and trusted name in the Indian architectural, interior design, and builder community.
This is not a routine job — we are looking for someone who can think like an entrepreneur, lead like a seasoned strategist, and execute like a market builder.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Strategic Leadership & Market Development
- Define and execute the India market entry and growth strategy in alignment with global business goals.
- Identify regional market potential, key growth cities, and priority customer segments.
- Take complete ownership of revenue targets, profitability, and market share growth.
- Build business plans city-by-city including demand generation, pricing, product mix, and channel deployment.
2. Team Building & Talent Development
Recruit, mentor, and manage a strong team of regional sales managers, marketing executives, and support staff.Build a results-oriented culture with accountability, performance tracking, and incentives.Establish training and development programs for the team with a focus on product knowledge and consultative selling.3. Brand Building & Experience Centers
Lead the brand positioning and awareness initiatives for the Indian market.Set up flagship experience centers in key metros to showcase products to designers, builders, and homeowners.Ensure brand visibility in architect forums, exhibitions, industry panels, and print / digital media.Develop a strong storytelling approach around the product’s design, technology, and value.4. Architect, Builder & Designer Network
Build and maintain direct relationships with top architects, interior designers, kitchen studios, and real estate developers.Create customized programs and engagement plans to increase advocacy and preference for the brand.Collaborate with the product team to collect feedback and improve the offering based on local tastes and trends.5. Channel & Project Sales
Develop a hybrid model of distribution that includes dealers, kitchen studios, project sales, and studio partnerships.Select and onboard channel partners with the capability to represent the brand and scale business.Structure commercial terms, territory responsibilities, and performance metrics for channel partners.Explore institutional and project sales opportunities for volume growth.6. Operations & Customer Experience
Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery, quality compliance, and order fulfillment.Build a CRM-driven culture for tracking leads, opportunities, and service performance.Lead pricing strategy, product launch plans, credit controls, and market feedback loops.7. Reporting & Business Governance
Provide regular reports and business dashboards to global management on performance, pipeline, challenges, and solutions.Take full responsibility for the India P&L, budgeting, resource planning, and ROI tracking.Candidate Profile :
Professional Experience :
12–20 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business leadership roles.At least 5 years in a leadership position managing national or multi-regional responsibilities.Deep understanding of India’s building materials landscape — especially in premium categories like quartz, natural stone, tiles, or architectural surfaces.Proven record of building teams, launching brands, and growing revenue sustainably.Industry Exposure :
Candidates from companies like Quartz / Granite manufacturers, Tiles brands, Surfaces, premium fittings, kitchen brands and interiors brands will be preferred.Core Skills & Competencies :
