Workshop manager – manufacturing

Role : Manage end-to-end manufacturing of milling machines — including fabrication, machining, welding, assembly, and final quality checks. Ensure machines are produced as per drawings, BOM, and timelines. Supervise workshop teams and maintain smooth production flow.

Key Responsibilities :

Plan and oversee daily machine manufacturing activities

Supervise fabricators, welders, machinists, fitters

Ensure accurate fabrication, assembly & QC at every stage

Coordinate with design, procurement, and stores

Maintain material availability, tools, and production discipline

Improve processes to reduce rework & increase efficiency

Ensure safety, 5 S, and shop-floor standards

Requirements :

Diploma / B. Tech (Mechanical / Production)

5–10 years in machine manufacturing or industrial equipment production

Strong knowledge of fabrication, machining & assembly

Ability to read technical drawings

Leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills
