Role : Android Developer

Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Android Developer with a strong background in building and delivering native Android applications. The ideal candidate will have 810 years of hands-on experience in Android development, a deep understanding of the Android SDK, and a passion for creating seamless, high-performance mobile experiences.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable native Android applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Identify and fix bugs, and continuously improve application performance.
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to architectural and design decisions.
Stay updated with the latest Android trends, tools, and technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

810 years of professional experience in native Android development.

Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.

Deep understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack components, and Material Design.

Experience with MVVM / MVP architecture, Room, Live Data, and View Model.

Proficient in working with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party libraries.

Familiarity with Android Studio, Gradle, and CI / CD pipelines.

Solid understanding of mobile app lifecycle, memory management, and multithreading.

Experience with unit testing, UI testing, and automated testing frameworks.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience with Jetpack Compose.

Familiarity with Kotlin Coroutines and Flow.

Knowledge of Play Store deployment, Crashlytics, and Firebase.

Exposure to Agile / Scrum methodologies.

Contributions to open-source projects or a portfolio of published apps.

Education : Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

Location : Bangalore (Bellandur)

Mode of Work : All the days need to work from office (can avail 5 days of WFH / month)
