We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chartered Accountant to join our team at our Mumbai head office situated at Powai. As a Chartered Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities and operations of various group companies within the group. You will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting strategic financial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities :
- Monthly Closures : Lead and manage the monthly and annual financial closure processes for multiple group companies.
- Accounts Reconciliation : Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Preparation of Financial Statements : Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
- Compliance and Reporting : Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations and standards. Prepare and file statutory returns and reports as required.
- Government Interactions : Liaise with government departments and officials as necessary. Present financial data and reports during audits, assessments, and regulatory inspections.
- Financial Analysis : Provide insightful analysis of financial performance, trends, and forecasts to support management decision-making.
- Budgeting and Forecasting : Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, monitoring variances and recommending corrective actions as needed.
- Process Improvement : Continuously review accounting processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement and implement efficiency enhancements.
- Team Collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, legal, and operations to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
Qualifications and Skills :
7+ years of professional accounting experienceBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CA or equivalent qualification preferred.Proven experience as a Chartered Accountant or similar role, ideally within the real estate industry.In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.Advanced proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel and Tally.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively with government officials and stakeholders.Attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.Working knowledge of ERP systemsAbout us : www.Srishtigroup.Com
