The Role
A Sales Development Representative primarily focus on lead generation. They are responsible for identifying and qualifying potential leads before they are passed on to the sales team. The aim is to create a pipeline of qualified leads for the sales team to pursue. This position reports directly to the Business Development Manager.
Responsibilities will include :
Conducting outreach through email, phone calls, or social media.
Identify potential customers and companies that could be a good fit for the company's products or services.
Qualifying leads based on specific criteria (e.g., budget, need, authority).
Setting up meetings or demos for the sales team.
Cultivate leads by providing information and resources to help them understand the value proposition of the company's offerings
Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.
The Candidate
We want someone who brings energy, drive, and enthusiasm to the role. You should be a natural communicator and be comfortable reaching out by phone, email, and video calls. Additionally, you should be motivated by targets and the thrill of opening new opportunities.

Essential Skills :
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
Proven track record in a sales or customer service role.
Strong understanding of sales performance metrics.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
High energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Desirable skills :
Master’s Degree (MBA)
Experience in training business development or conducting training
Knowledge of the IES Virtual Environment (VE) software
Awareness of voluntary environmental rating schemes such as USGBC LEED or Estidama
Knowledge of the sustainable building design process
Awareness of building energy regulations
