Automation Programmer - System Integration

About the Role :

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Automation Programmer to join our growing team in Bengaluru.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing control logic for smart building technologies and integrated systems.

These include Audio-Visual (AV) systems, lighting control, HVAC integration, and security solutions, across a variety of commercial and residential projects.

You will work collaboratively with design engineers, project managers, and system integrators to turn conceptual designs into fully functional, automated solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and program automation sequences and control logic for AV, lighting, HVAC, and security systems.
• Develop and configure software solutions using platforms such as Crestron (SIMPL / SIMPL+, Crestron Studio), Extron, AMX, or similar.
• Integrate third-party devices using RS-232, IP, IR, relays, and other control protocols.
• Perform functional testing of programmed systems to validate behavior and performance as per design specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during development and commissioning phases.
• Ensure seamless user interface functionality through touch panels, keypads, and mobile apps.
• Work closely with the engineering and design teams to interpret system schematics and technical requirements.
• Assist during onsite commissioning, including installation verification, calibration, and final client handover.
• Provide technical support to clients and field teams post-deployment for maintenance or updates.
• Create and maintain thorough documentation of system architecture, programming files, configuration settings, and change logs.
• Implement and manage code versioning for all ongoing and completed projects.
• Stay up to date with firmware updates, software releases, and best practices for supported platforms.
