Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager to lead our sales operations in the Darbhanga region. This role involves spearheading regional sales strategies, managing field teams, nurturing client relationships, and driving business growth. You will act as the bridge between the company and its customers, ensuring both revenue goals and customer satisfaction are consistently met.

Key Develop and execute effective regional sales strategies aligned with company objectives

  • Manage, train, and motivate the regional sales team to exceed performance targets
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base within the region
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of market trends
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and retailers
  • Monitor and report on sales metrics, preparing regular performance updates for senior management
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to execute regional promotional campaigns
  • Ensure timely resolution of customer issues and uphold high levels of service quality
  • Travel regularly within the assigned territory to support team activities and build field insights

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Masters degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • 4+ years of proven experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a team management or regional role
  • Prior experience in the steel, construction, or building materials industry is highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of sales strategies, negotiation, and client relationship management
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze sales metrics and use CRM tools effectively
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region
