Job Title : Senior Data Scientist Digital Transformation (FS Analytics & AI)

Location : Bangalore, India

Employment Type : Full-Time

About the Role :

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Data Scientist to join a fast-growing Digital Transformation team in the Financial Services domain.

The role focuses on designing AI-powered analytics solutions, supporting presales and RFX responses, and driving innovation across financial services analytics initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design end-to-end analytics and AI solutions for financial services clients.
  • Lead RFP / RFI responses, develop solution architecture, and support presales efforts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored AI strategies.
  • Create and present demos, POVs, use cases, and client collaterals.
  • Contribute to the development of new offerings leveraging GenAI and emerging technologies.

Required Skills & Experience :

  • 10+ years of experience in Banking Analytics (Mortgages, Consumer / Commercial Lending, Cards, Risk, etc.
  • 5+ years of experience in solution design, practice development, and presales.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Python, AI / ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), and statistical modeling.
  • Proficiency in GenAI-based application development and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for senior stakeholder engagement.
  • Exposure to the UK market is a plus.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Postgraduate or MBA from a Tier 1 institute with a background in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related disciplines.
  • Familiarity with tools like Tableau, PowerBI, R, SQL / NoSQL, and basic data engineering principles.

  • Proven experience in building and scaling analytics practices.
