What You'll be doing :
- The role will be responsible for implementing and supporting Monitoring & Observability requirements and solutions that the Enterprise Monitoring team supports.
- This will involve providing solutions, contributing to strategic initiatives, incremental improvements and delivering to the requirements for the clients.
- The resource will act as an individual contributor delivering technical solutions to requirements and acting as a trusted advisor.
- The candidate will play a key role providing solutions related to Infrastructure monitoring, Application Performance Monitoring and Log aggregation.
- Automation is key and the resource will create or modify infra as code / automation solutions that the team provides as part of the service.

Experience in delivering Monitoring & Observability solution to customer requirements.Responsible for delivering outcomes and providing technical expertise to the Monitoring & Observability service.Be the trusted advisor to the customers.Ensure delivery in a timely, efficient and cost-effective manner.Stakeholder management across various Technology and Business teams.Ensures that technical solutions are fit for purpose, including for functional, non-functional and support requirements and to Global Technology Strategic direction.Key skills will include following implementations in Enterprise scale.Experience in Observability tools, AI Ops, Log aggregation (e.g. ELK), Application Performance Monitoring (e.g. New Relic)Infra and application monitoring skills.Scripting skills like Python, Shell scripts, Java scriptsDev ops skills like Infra as Code (e.g Terraform) , develop CI / CD pipelines, delivering in a SCRUM model.Experience in Open Telemetry, AWS, Kubernetes will be an advantage.Good communication and influencing skills.Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.The resource is expected to provide on-call support on a periodic basis and change support outside of the business hrs or over weekends. If needed, provide support in different shifts covering UK business hrs.
