Role Overview

The Data Governance Analyst is responsible for ensuring that the Bank’s data is robust, accurate, consistent, and fully compliant with internal Policies and Standards. The role supports the implementation of the Data Governance Framework, establishes business definitions, sets and monitors data quality standards, and identifies strategic remediation activities to improve overall data integrity.

Data is a core asset for our client, entrusted by customers and used across the Bank for operational, customer, management and analytical purposes. Ensuring its accuracy, completeness and usability is critical. The Data Governance team safeguards this asset by ensuring data is reliable, understood, useful and trusted.

Working closely with the Head of Data Governance, Data Governance Lead, Data Management Analysts, Data Specialists, and Subject Matter Experts across the Bank, the Data Governance Analyst will design, embed and monitor Privacy by Design , enhancing GDPR maturity and ensuring data privacy is integrated into BAU processes. The role also ensures that architectural solution designs align with data policies and standards and maintains coherence between data models, technical flows, business processes, and operational data lifecycle tasks to support strong impact analysis capabilities.

• Act as SME and custodian of the OneTrust Privacy Hub .
• Support continuous improvement in data privacy and personal data protection.
• Embed and monitor Privacy by Design across new and existing processes.
