Microsoft Power BI Developer

What You Will Be Doing :

As a Power BI Administrator, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle administration of the Power BI platform across the enterprise.

This includes planning, implementing, supporting, and optimizing the Power BI environment to ensure high performance, scalability, and usability.

Your role will be critical in supporting both developers and business stakeholders to deliver reliable and secure analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Administer and maintain Power BI services including patches, updates, user / group security (Active Directory), account provisioning, and capacity management.
• Configure and manage data gateways to enable secure access to on-prem and cloud data sources.
• Set up and monitor Gateway Virtual Machines and manage service principal creation and access.
• Automate environment configurations, deployments, and integrations using Power BI REST APIs and PowerShell scripting.
• Manage and enforce Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies at both tenant and environment levels.
• Support license management and workspace migrations across Microsoft 365 and Power BI Premium capacities.
• Provide documentation and maintain administrative best practices, procedures, and standards.
• Monitor system performance, usage analytics, and implement proactive alerting and logging mechanisms.
• Offer production and user support, including participation in a rotational on-call schedule.
• Troubleshoot issues related to Azure AD, networking, and firewall configurations.
• Engage in continuous improvement by proposing innovations and enhancements in the Power BI landscape.

What You Will Bring to the Role :

Education : Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
