Job Title : SAP MDG Techo Functional : Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Jaipur, Gurugram, : 6-10 Timings : 1-10 PM

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead the design and implementation of SAP MDG solutions, ensuring strict alignment with enterprise data management strategies and overarching business objectives.
  • Collaborate extensively with business stakeholders to meticulously gather, analyze, and validate complex requirements for master data governance across various domains such as Material, Customer, Vendor, and Finance.
  • Oversee the detailed mapping of SAP MDG functional capabilities to specific business needs, and strategically drive the development of scalable, future-ready governance processes.
  • Define and guide the creation of essential process models, including entity types, change requests, business rules, and workflows within SAP MDG.
  • Lead the configuration and enhancement of SAP MDG data models, workflows, and user interfaces to precisely meet organizational and project-specific requirements.
  • Provide robust technical leadership and oversight in creating comprehensive functional specifications, detailed test plans, and scripts for unit testing, integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and functional issues within the MDG landscape, providing strategic solutions to ensure system integrity and high data quality.
  • Mentor and guide project team members, ensuring strict adherence to best practices in MDG implementation and ongoing support.
  • Coordinate all post-go-live support activities and lead comprehensive training sessions for end-users and business teams to promote widespread adoption and effective use of the MDG solution.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders and cross-functional teams, ensuring timely communication and alignment throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Possess a strong understanding of MDG ABAP programming, as the role involves guiding and designing solutions for the development team.

Required Qualifications & Skills :

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 6-10 years of extensive experience in SAP MDG implementations, including multiple full lifecycle projects.
  • Proven techno-functional expertise in SAP MDG configuration, customization, and data modeling (Change Request Management, Workflow, UI modeling, Data Replication Framework - DRF).
  • Strong understanding of Master Data Domains across various SAP modules (Material, Customer, Vendor, Finance).
  • In-depth knowledge of MDG ABAP programming concepts, with the ability to guide development teams on custom enhancements and BADIs.
  • Experience in integrating SAP MDG with other SAP ECC / S / 4HANA modules and third-party systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills for complex MDG issues.
  • Excellent leadership and team-mentoring capabilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement, documentation, and team collaboration.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear technical specifications and functional designs.
  • Experience with various testing phases (Unit, Integration, UAT) and preparation of related documentation.
  • Flexibility to work in the 1 : 00 PM to 10 : 00 PM shift.
