Position : Business Development Lead (Film & Content Studio)

Location : Bangalore or Mumbai preferred | Hybrid

Type : 2-Month Freelance Retainer (with potential for full-time)

Compensation : 50,000 / month + performance-based incentive

Full-Time : CTC (post-trial) : 75,000 - 1,20,000 / month

Kabes Media is a film and content studio working at the intersection of storytelling, strategy, and social impact. We craft high-quality documentaries, CSR films, branded content, and communication campaigns for a wide range of corporates, agencies, nonprofits, and foundations. Our work spans 27 Indian states, 18 countries, and has won recognition globally.

What You’ll Do

  • Pitch Kabes Media’s services to corporates, brands, agencies, NGOs, and CSR teams
  • Generate and manage qualified leads and client conversations
  • Build and track a live sales pipeline with follow-ups and conversions
  • Collaborate with the creative team to craft decks and proposals
  • Own the relationship from first contact to signed project

What We’re Looking For

  • 6 - 8 years of experience in business development, client servicing, or partnerships—preferably in a production house, media agency, or creative studio
  • Familiarity with corporate communications, CSR, branded films, or content campaigns
  • Strong communication and pitching skills
  • Outcome-focused, self-driven, and great with follow-ups
  • Someone who understands creative processes but is driven by business results
  • Trial Format

    This is a 2-month paid trial contract with :

  • 50,000 / month fixed retainer
  • Upto 10% incentive on any project closed
  • Weekly check-ins and tracker-based progress review
  • If you're not moving leads into meetings and projects, it’s not a fit-for either side.

    If It’s a Good Fit

    After the trial, the role can convert to full-time with :

  • CTC : 75,000 – 1,20,000 / month
  • Incentives : Up to 10% of deal value
  • Growth Path : Opportunity to build a full BD team and lead client strategy across sectors.
