Real / Time Embedded Engineer

Real / Time Embedded Engineer Responsibilities Involvement in all R&D sections : hardware, firmware, software, and design. Responsibility for company-embedded development. Supporting the development of firmware for the Master Caution device Implementing embedded control and communication platform for Class 2 medical devices. Implementing power management and optimization strategy for on-body Bluetooth and / or other wireless protocol Developing and implementing on target automated test platforms for development and production Creating and implementing a validation plan for a translated algorithm using Signal processing methods Developing automated test platform for embedded system. Generating quality-controlled documentation Collaborating with electrical engineering team to specify and verify hardware designs. Collaborating with design assurance to develop and support system testing participate in cross functional design reviews. Minimum Qualifications BSc. in Electrical Engineering or related field or an IDF technological unit veteran MA in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering a plus 5 years experience in firmware development. 2 years experience in ARMs Cortex familymicro controllers. Experience in signal processing development on ARM M4 or similar devices. Experience in developing board support package for custom hardware. Experience in Bluetooth communication. Experience in serial protocols like I2C, SPI and UART. Experience in Logic Analyzer and hardware debugging. Hands-on with at least one of the following : LabView, Matlab, Simulink Fluent in C and in translating algorithms from Matlab, Python, R orother scientific computing language into C or assembly language. Advantages Experience with mobile development (Android or IOS) Experience with accelerometer and electrocardiography signals, preferably with wearable technologies and / or medical devices.
