About the Role :
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Applied Scientist to join our cutting-edge AI / ML team. In this role, you will spearhead the research, development, and deployment of advanced machine learning models, focusing on Computer Vision and Large Language Models (LLMs). You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to translate complex AI research into scalable, production-ready solutions that create meaningful user impact.

- Lead research initiatives to design and implement state-of-the-art computer vision algorithms and large language model architectures tailored for real-world applications such as image recognition, segmentation, generation, and natural language understanding.
- Build, fine-tune, and optimize deep learning models, including transformer-based LLMs and advanced CV models, ensuring high accuracy, robustness, and generalization.
- Design and develop scalable, end-to-end machine learning pipelines that support efficient training, validation, deployment, and inference at scale.
- Work closely with product, engineering, and data science teams to integrate ML models into products, ensuring seamless production deployment and alignment with business goals.
- Profile and optimize models and pipelines for latency, throughput, and resource efficiency, especially under real-time and large-scale deployment constraints.
- Produce clear documentation of algorithms, methodologies, and implementation details;
share knowledge across teams through presentations, code reviews, and technical discussions.
Keep abreast of the latest research trends and advancements in AI, machine learning, computer vision, and natural language processing to continuously enhance the teams Qualifications :Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, AI / ML, or related fields.2 - 4 years of hands-on experience in applied machine learning or deep learning roles,preferably in industry or research settings.
Strong expertise in Computer Vision techniques such as object detection, image segmentation, classification, image generation, or similar domains.Solid understanding and practical experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), includingtransformer architectures (e.g., BERT, GPT), fine-tuning methods, and prompt engineering.
Proficient in Python and popular ML / DL frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX.Experience designing and implementing scalable ML pipelines for both training and inference.Strong problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to tackle complex algorithmic and engineering challenges.ref : hirist.tech)
